Beam me up Scotty

Alice is already known as an educational programming language. A looking glass is already known as a diagnostic portal for network operations and using either name would cause some degree of confusion. However, Dr. Vinton G. Cerf is already known as the father of the Internet and naming this endeavor in his honor is a fitting tribute to an appropriate benefactor.

Beyond that there is one term missing from the list that would provide a more accurate description of what to expect from this new school. Telepresence. Thus the Dr. Vinton G. Cerf Telepresence Academy would be a fitting and proper name to convey a proactive stance toward the advancement of student knowledge and the establishment of technically oriented curriculum designed to prepare our students for the future we have created for them.

on it

How about:

Pajama School

Or:

Parent I Whined At Is Doing This For Me School.

Pakistanis at Their Kitchen Tables Faculty School? (This idea was actually touted by state officials as a benefit of virtual school - your child could be taught by a teacher at his kitchen table in Karachi!)

Who Needs Those Overpaid Slacker Teachers and Their Fancy School Buildings, Just Cut Our Taxes School?

John

Better create a new administrative position to handle the name choosing

Pasco Teachers Union
