Florida State women's basketball star Tanae Davis-Cain to be honored in her hometown of Dawson, Ga.

Tanae Florida State women's basketball player Tanae Davis-Cain will be honored with a homecoming celebration in her hometown of Dawson, Ga. on May 9.

Tanae Davis-Cain, one of the top players in Florida State history, will be an honorary coach for her prep alma mater in an alumni game as part of the celebration. There's also a barbecue and live music scheduled for the event.

Davis-Cain, who is set to graduate this weekend from Florida State, helped lead the Seminoles to four straight NCAA Tournament appearances and was recently selected in the third round of the WNBA draft by the Detroit Shock.
