ESPN.com ranks college football rivalries for 2009 ... but where's Florida State?
ESPN.com's Pat Forde has ranked the Top 10 rivalries in college football in 2009, but Florida State-Florida doesn't make it. That despite this line in his intro that "The games are more fun when there's a little hate involved.''
He does say there's "no living off past glory,'' which he said explains why FSU-Miami didn't make the list (FSU-Clemson did make his honorable mentions).
What do you think?

Start your tomahawk chop and give us your war cry. The Seminole report is written by FSU beatwriter Brian Landman and the sports staff of the St. Petersburg Times.
Pat Forde must think his employer (ESPN)is not very smart considering all the money they are paying to have FSU play UM on Labor Day Weekend. Rivalry or not, we get higher ratings than just about every rivalry on his top 10. As far as FSU v.s. Clemson being an honorable mention...that is stupid.

Outside of a few no-brainers, this list is designed to get fans to say HUH? VaTech Boston College a bigger rivalry than UVa-VaTech? C'mon. This is like a Matt Hayes column: SO FAR off the mark that it won't even spark an argument because it can't be taken seriously.
