ACC player of the week ballot

Here's my ballot for the ACC player of the week awards. Again, this is a lot harder than I ever imagined. The thing I've realized is that I can't help but influenced by the games I see start-to-finish rather than those I read about or see a couple of highlight plays from on SportsCenter.

Offensive back: Christian Ponder, Florida State (Watching how he played after getting hit in the back and bruising ribs left me more impressed than had I just seen his stats)
Offensive line: Rodney Hudson, Florida State
Defensive line: Tydreke Powell, UNC (Again, watching the Thursday night game made the difference here; he forced a fumble that setup the win.)
Defensive back: Colin McCarthy, Miami
Rookie: Luke Kuechly, Boston College
Specialist: Casey Barth, UNC (Duke kicker Will Snyderwine had a far better day with five field goals -- 44, 28, 34, 25 and 43) and Barth had just two short ones, 19 and 21 yarders, but the last came on the final play at Virginia Tech and on my ballot, that meant bonus points).

Ponder - Nations Best

Look at his stats on a BAD TEAM. unreal talent. 3 star recruits.
