Florida State forward Tiffany McCarty named ACC offensive player of the year; Mark Krikorian named league's coach of the year
Florida State sophomore forward Tiffany McCarty, who led the ACC in goals (15) and points (36) to lead her team to the top seed in this week's conference tournament, was named the league's offensive player of the year in a vote of the women's coaches.
Senior defender Becky Edwards joined McCarty on the first-team all-ACC soccer team, while junior midfielder Amanda DaCosta and sophomores Toni Pressley, a defender, and Jessica Price, a forward, were second team picks.
Mark Krikorian was named the coach of the year.
