Return of Haynesworth, Vanden Bosch huge
THE TITANS TWO: Getting back defensive linemen Albert Haynesworth (left knee sprain) and Kyle Vanden Bosch (groin) will be huge for the Titans. Both players are practicing, though stamina may be an issue. “We talk about inside push and outside speed, and that’s what we get from them, and their presence has a tendency to free up the other players,” coach Jeff Fisher said. “I can’t predict how much they’re going to play or how long they’re going to play, but they got some quality work done today at practice.” Haynesworth, above, missed the last two regular-season games, Vanden Bosch the last three.
FAMOUS MR. ED: The Titans saw what Ravens safety Ed Reed did against the Dolphins, producing two of the four interceptions of Chad Pennington and returning one for a touchdown. “He’s a great player and we have a lot of respect for him,” TE Bo Scaife said. “I don’t think we are going to shy away from him at all. Obviously, we are going to know where he is at on the field. He probably is going to make some plays, but we have guys that are going to make plays on him, too.”
BY THE NUMBERS
17 Turnovers by the Titans during the regular season.
