Tell us about your Black Friday shopping
[Tim Carpenter of
Brooksville lined up outside Circuit City in Spring Hill at 6:45 p.m. Thursday. "Never did
it before," Carpenter said about camping out for Black Friday. "Never
had to." Will Vragovic | Times]

Early morning shoppers waited in the pre-dawn chill to get the best deals on this Black Friday.
Were you one of them waiting for a store's doors to open this morning? Tell us about your shopping adventure:
- Were you on a mission for one 'must have' gift?
- What was the best deal you scored?
- How fierce was the competition (the other shoppers)?

Christmas, thats a thing of the past, thankyou President Bush,I'm sure my 4yr old son will be real happy on X-Mas day with no gifts and possibly nowhere to live, personally the best gift I could ever have in my lifetime, would be turning on the news and hearing someone assinated his dumb-a--ss

I went to Home Depot to get some parts for a plumbing repair. It wasn't too crowded but they were low on the items I needed.

Mine went fine. I waited untill my neighbors shopped Friday, then broke into their house Saturday morning. No lines at all.

Well, I was not in line nor did I go out shopping at all on Black Friday.I am blessed to still have a job and that's where I spend my Friday. I earned my money I will be spending on my bills.I saw alot of people on TV though that look like they can't afford any shopping and live off our tax dollars, live off foodstamps and are first in line at the food pantry on Thanksgiving, but they go shopping!!!! What a messed up country this has become.

No small wonder why the world hates us.

Considering the current situation with the job market, I find it disgusting
that people can be so greedy! As food pantries go empty, and soup kitchens go dry, some find greed their drug of choice. What a despicable group you "bargain hunters" are!

We went to Macys in Tyrone at 545 am, 45 minutes after they opened. We were looking for the AEROGarden and some clothing. We tried to use the coupons that were printed in the ads, and were told that we could not. My boyfriend asked why and was told two different reasons by two different people. The cashier told us it was because one of our items was on sale, even though the coupon did not say regular priced merchandise only. An employee who just happened to walk by told my boyfriend it was because we didn't use our Macy's card. We said forget it and went to Sears, got more stuff and spent less money. Never again will I shop there. That was the bad part of our shopping. Good thing was we covered 6 stores in 4.5 hours and saved $100. Can't complain there.

I stayed home because I knew my mortgage is due next month and wouldn't expect anybody to bail me out if I blew the money on plastic crap made in China.

Get a life, people. And you idiots in the press need to stop pushing this whole shopping stupidity as a 'story'. It just enhances the hype that leads people to stand outside in the dark for hours in the morning to buy something just because it's on sale. Pathetic.

I'm an Extra Large Senior Citizen (75 years old). I entered "Bealls" in Seminole at 6AM to shop for my nieces.
I asked a Sales Person if they had any Hanna Montana or Dora The Explorer Dresses. She took one look at me and replied "Sorry Sir we don't have a thing in your size".
That was a great response for so early in the morning. We both had a good laugh as she helped me find 2 perfect gifts.

Have we becomed so brainwash in this Nation, that we plant ourselves in front of a store for 24 hours, waiting to buy whatever it is you can do without. Pathetic.
