Your wildlife photos: Mother cares for newborn Great Egrets
Andrea Walker of South Tampa shares a photo gallery capturing a mother Great Egrets caring for its newborns. Walker says she spotted the birds in New Port Richey on Thursday. Above, the mother bird watches her newborns as they break out of their eggs.
Walker says these newborns start life with "a bad hair day."
In this photo, the mother bird looks to feed her babies for the first time.
