« Should the state know what's in your medicine cabinet? | Main | Tuesday's column on Monday! (But just remember, it's April 1) »

On second thought

Wait a minute. April 1 falls on my column day this year. Seems like a shame to waste it by writing about a serious topic...

That's true Howard, why not write about the legislature?

I have to agree Howard. Hmm what was your best April Fool's joke?

Go for it Howard
But for crying out loud don't forget to say April Fool at the end of your column, most of the readers believe anything they read.
How about ~~ Bush appoints Dennis Miller chief of staff???

About This Blog

ANNOUNCEMENT: WEEKLY LIVE CHAT: Join Howard from noon to 1 p.m. each Tuesday here on TroxBlog for a live online chat about current events in Florida and the Tampa Bay area.

TroxBlog is the blog-home of Howard Troxler, a St. Petersburg Times metro columnist since 1991. His print column normally appears Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays on page 1B.

Born March 19, 1959, in Burlington, N.C., Troxler writes a mix of reporting, analysis, satire and commentary on state and local matters. He considers himself politically unpredictable with libertarian leanings ("I'm for gay marriage WITH gun ownership") but readers routinely conclude he is hopelessly biased against whatever it is they happen to be for. He is married to a woman who has more sense than he does and lives in St. Petersburg.
