11/26/2001 Tampa Bay 24 St. Louis 17. At St. Louis. Cross another one off.

Wrong about St Louis - Bucs won there in 2001.

Actually, we have won in NY/NJ
I know this because I was there at the meadowlands when we beat the Giants late in 1997 season. Mike Alstott had a great TD run in the 2nd half. The Bucs went back to the meadowlands in Dec. to play the Jets and lost

The Buc beat the New York Giants for their ninth win back in 1997 !!!

Do people in the media even care about the facts?

We can check off the Bucs playing at the Bills in 2009 as we are scheduled to play in Buffalo in the regular season.

Hey, gang, you're right. An old media guide had a mistake. Bucs did win in New Jersey in 1997. So it's all fixed now.

Your comment about trying to find another Michael Vick is not in the least bit funny, even sarcastically.

not playing in Buffalo is a good thing. Would you want to live in Buffalo. The No.1 topic in Buffalo is where people want to move to. As for the rest of the items, I doubt if a lot of other teams have done those either. Here is the most important fact this team has acomplished: THEY WON THE SUPER BOWL. Here ends the story.

Stretching here...

Never hosted a throwback game (perhaps never participated in one anywhere).

Never won a game while a member of the AFC.

How about a year without any of the thugs getting arrested?

what a waste of time thinking this crap up.. can't we celebrate instead of demoralzing the bucs team even more..must be pretty bored in the sports writing office.

how about Bucs players being in movies? has that ever happened? I know Kevin Weekes of the Lightning was on a T.V. show way back when...

This article was pretty lame!

Never played against an all girls team and Won or Lost.

When did Tom Jones become a sportscaster. Thought he was a singer.

Bucs in the movies? Loads of them. Check out our films section on BUCPOWER. I've added all the Buc connections in the review section like Mazio Royster being in The Longest Yard along with Conrad Goode, Royster also being in Any Given Sunday, and former strike QB Mike Hold being in The Program with James Caan.

The dog fighting comment was disgusting. Trying to be funny? Find a new job.

Wow Jonesy you really took it on the chin for coming up with a somewhat imaginative article. Sometimes it doesn't pay to get out of bed.

never had a local sports writer support them.

I thought the dog joke was funny. You people need to lighten up. He could have wrote: Never taunted a Tiger and had it rip one of the players apart or never had a player intercept a bullet in a house robbery and die during the middle of the season.

Tom Jones doesn't sing "It's Not Unusual'' or shake his hips (well, unless you're willing to pay cash), but he does have plenty to say about sports. If it's funny, crazy, weird, irreverent or worth arguing, Tom has his opinions. So pull up a chair and get his two cents -- and give him your two cents, as well.
