i just read your article mouthy and memorable and I can not believe you do not have the all time favorite line in pro football. The quote from chris berman -- he could go all the wayyyyyy

Tom Jones is a disgrace. How can a quality organization such as Poynter Institute have this idiot on the payroll?

>>>. Give me one good reason why the Rays can't keep this pace going all season long.<<<

i'll give you two:

1) worst leadoff hitter in baseball.

2) a .200 hitter batting cleanup.

unless they get lights out pitching every night, those two elements have to catch up with a team sooner or later.

it's not berman's line. like everything else that comes out of his stupid mouth, it's a rip off. he doesn't have enough brain or originality to come up with something fresh.

I know, and yet they still give the guy space to run these tired lists and best/worst columns that have only one fan (who could be a pseudonym for all we know).

Oh wait...you're talking about Berman and no TJ? Oops!

About This Blog

Tom Jones doesn't sing "It's Not Unusual'' or shake his hips (well, unless you're willing to pay cash), but he does have plenty to say about sports. If it's funny, crazy, weird, irreverent or worth arguing, Tom has his opinions. So pull up a chair and get his two cents -- and give him your two cents, as well.
