no tiger? thank god! sick of golf in general, and even more sick in particular over the heroworship of this woods character.

Couldn't agree with you more, Tom, about Joe and Dwayne. I've always thought they were entertaining, and Magrane's insight is always welcomed. But I noticed them bellyaching about the umps as well. It turns me off. Just as you said, if they are going to complain as aggressively as Dwayne has done recently, make sure it goes both ways.

the big league now? Get real...fill those blue seats even if they're
displaced Red Sox fans, like me.

I love golf & appreciate watching the best. Tiger is the best. His swing, his concentration & charisma combine to make him the most enjoyable fella out there. I would far prefer to watch his every shot all day long than a hodgepodge of alsorans. So do most other golf fans. The networks know that too & that's why they show Tiger a lot. They're not stupid. Even their advertisers like to watch Tiger.
