solid roundup.

1) william floyd is no p.t. willis.

2) you give WWWAAYYY too much credibility to lupica's show. that thing jumped the shark years ago and is way to predictable. yawn.

3) chizik is a clearwater guy and used to be an assistant coach at seminole.

William Floyd is AWFUL! Please! I turn the radio off and just do without. Poor grammar, incomplete and irrational thought...just another jock on the radio!

"Misguided belief"? Whatever, Tom. I have a degree in broadcast journalism, worked in news for a few years and to say sportscasters and sports writers don't have favorites is being extremely naive. Brent Musberger is known to gamble on the very games he is calling. You can hear it in his voice.

So to say that we, the fans, are misguided is not only naive, it's arrogant. You're wrong!

Bring PT Willis back. He was honest and a true student of the game from the quarterback perspective. Floyd is doing exactly the same thing Willis was fired for, and he steps all over Deckerhoff's call of the plays with his whooping and hollering. Floyd is an amateur who will never get any better, yet his job is safe. Right now, everything stinks at FSU, including the radio broadcasts. I feel sorry for Deckerhoff.

To pretend that Mitch Albom wasn't happy to see the Lions finally win a game, or that Damian Cristodero wasn't hoping the Lightning would win the Stanley Cup back '03 or whenever it was is just ridiculous. Yes, they should present themselves as objective, strive to report objectively, and refrain from comments like John Saunders made, but don't run this jive at us that deep inside they don't care. Plus the celebration call on Georgia was awful but given that it took about 20 seconds for LSU to regain the lead, I don't think the 15 yards changed the outcome of the game.
