Kohn joins USF basketball staff

Reggie Kohn, USF's all-time assists leader, has returned to Bulls basketball, accepting a position on Robert McCullum's staff as director of basketball operations.

"I am excited about the opportunity to return to USF," the 26-year-old said in a statement released by USF. "I am interested in becoming involved with coaching at the collegiate level and I couldn’t think of a better place to start than my alma mater."

Kohn, who has led Lake Howell High to the state final four in all three of his seasons as head coach, replaces Scott Thompson, who stepped down after three years last month.

"We are elated to add Reggie to the Bulls’ staff," McCullum said in a statement. "He brings enthusiasm, experience and a strong work ethic back to his alma mater, and his desire to get into coaching at the collegiate level makes him a perfect fit at USF."
