USF-Auburn set for ESPN2 broadcast

USF's Sept. 8 football game at Auburn has been scheduled for national broadcast on ESPN2, marking the Bulls' third appearance on an ESPN network this fall.

Can't say I'm excited about the kickoff time -- 9 p.m. here, 8 p.m. local, which makes for some deadline fun, but hey, at least the games are supposed to be longer this fall than they were last season.

USF also is on ESPN2 for its Sept. 28 home game against West Virginia, and the Bulls have a Thursday night audience on ESPN when they travel to Rutgers on Oct. 18. Check back for more news later today ...

That means it ends after Midnight Eastern time... gonna be a late time in the old town that night.

Why on the duce? Why not on ESPN?

ESPN and ESPN2 are very close in viewership, so it is not really a big deal which we are on. This game is huge.

Yuck... considering all the logistical problems of playing a game in Auburn (no available local hotels, period, traffic is horrible getting out of there, etc.) it's going to be an extremely late night for anyone who goes to the game.

Lots of national pub this year and hopefully the Bulls will live up to billing. This has the potential to be big year of a bust.

No more sneaking up on teams.

Go Bulls!

It can't be any harder then getting out of Gainesville after a 7 p.m kick..

Who leaves after the game anyways.?

Off to the bar to find me a nice 20 year old co-ed.
