Really, I'd written quite a bit ...
I had a whole long rambling post here, but typepad.com ate it. Not a big fan of typepad right now, but not a big fan of retyping a post at this hour, either. I'm taking a few days off from the blog, so I'll come back to this in better detail Monday.
I'll have lots on the new USF-Miami series, which moves to Thanksgiving week in 2010. I'll mention here that Jim Leavitt also said Thursday that he expects "five or six" of his incoming recruits not to qualify academically. And if you missed it, Clearwater High point guard Luke Loucks, who had USF among the final schools he was considering, told the Times' Joe Smith on Thursday night that he's make a commitment to Florida State. Tough recruiting loss in their own back yard for the Bulls. Have a good weekend and keep those questions and comments coming ...

Times sportswriter Greg Auman, who covers USF, will post news and thoughts on the Bulletin and we invite your participation in the comments area.
Just a small hint for long posts, type up your article in your favorite word processor first, i.e. MS Word. This way your posting is saved on your local PC and is not subject to the flakiness of web-based applications like typepad. You can also use the advanced features of the word processor like spelling & grammar checking.

High Tech Bull: Your advice would make sense, but Typepad doesn't do well when you cut and paste from other applications -- you get random spacing and tabs throughout the copy. Best thing to do is just ctrl-A, ctrl-C right before you click to publish, that way you have the info on your clipboard if the post doesn't go through. I just don't remember to do that every time. Thanks for the heads-up, though ...

Nice. I've seen some footage of this guy and I like what I see. He plays like a mini-sean taylor out there....this boy loves to hit. And it helps that this guy is related to the retired Ray Sinclair of the Seattle Seahawks. Nice to see we're recruiting kids with pedigree.
