Garrison admitted, can join team Friday
Good news Thursday for Bulls signee Corian Garrison, as the freshman defensive tackle from Starke learned he'd been accepted into USF after being cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse on Monday.
Garrison, who expects to start classes and join the team Friday, underwent knee surgery in July and will take a redshirt this fall as he recovers. He expects to make a full recovery in time for spring drills in April.

Times sportswriter Greg Auman, who covers USF, will post news and thoughts on the Bulletin and we invite your participation in the comments area.
Good to hear he is aboard. Now our trainers will be able to help with rehab.

USF says the game will be available on the ESPN GamePlan pay-per-view plan, available on DirecTV and Dish. It's not on the list right now, but USF says it'll be there.

Garrison will be great in the middle for USF. Does anyone know the spread for Saturday's game?

There is no Vegas spread for I-A v. I-AA, or for Division I (Bowl) against Division I (Playoffs), or whatever name it is now.

picking up where cee has left off - wow, CJL is now recruiting kids that are already hurt! Guess he wants them broken in a bit so they are easier to break next year!!!! What is Garrison, some thug no star injured player? CJL hits the trifecta!

Garrison signed with USF in February. The knee injury and surgery came later. In this case, it's good to see that Leavitt stuck by the kid, who will benefit from USF's excellent athletic training staff and facilities. Plus, he can focus on his academics, something Leavitt needs to make a higher priority for his program.

First off for "gdp" i sm no thug and i dont appreciate you stereotyping me with any other experiences you have had with THUGS but you are the typical person thinking all young black boys are thugs but anyways you inspire me to come back from this injury and be better than I was before and again thanks for the inspiration

It's hard to pick up if you're not familiar with some of the posts, but "gdp" was being sarcastic, didn't mean anything serious.
Cee tends to point out that players have a limited number of stars from the recruiting services, and he thinks Leavitt works players too hard and gets them injured -- gdp was trying to make fun of that. I don't think he meant any disrespect to you.
