Nate Allen, turnover machine
Sophomore safety Nate Allen continues to have a knack for turnovers, getting an end-zone interception of West Virginia quarterback Jarrett Brown, the fifth turnover forced by the Bulls tonight.
A 38-yard run by freshman Noel Devine had set West Virginia up at the USF 7-yard line, but much like the Bulls so many times tonight, West Virginia's high-powered offense wasn't able to get points. Linebacker Ben Moffitt had pressure on Brown, who tried a pass into the end zone that Allen snared for his second turnover of the night.

Times sportswriter Greg Auman, who covers USF, will post news and thoughts on the Bulletin and we invite your participation in the comments area.
Are they really paying an USF offensive coordinator to call three long, down the middle, into double coverage, twice for interceptions, and a third that should have been an interception, by Virginia ??? Has this guy lost his mind? He keeps coming back with he same play

Defense clearly gassed on the WV drive to make it 21-13. We need some first downs to let the D catch their breath.

Too bad we haven't see West Virginia's #92 and 93 side-by-side again tonight. Also, would it be irony or fate if USF's Johnson's astrological sign was Taurus?

Reminds me of the Rod Smith era ... #8 up the middle every 2nd play.
