USF-West Virginia sold out?
USF won't confirm it yet, but all signs to point to general-public tickets for Friday's USF-West Virginia game being sold out.
At 11 a.m., calls to 1-800-GOBULLS were telling customers to try Ticketmaster.com, and queries for a single ticket there were showing no tickets available. The student allotment of 12,501 student tickets is going fast as well.
-- Also, defensive end George Selvie has been named as the Big East defensive player of the week after getting two sacks and five total tackles for loss in USF's dominating 37-10 win against North Carolina on Saturday.
-- USF's Oct. 6 game at Florida Atlantic has been picked up for national broadcast on ESPNU, and the network has shifted the kickoff ahead 30 minutes to 3:30 p.m. ... It's the fourth straight USF game to be broadcast on an ESPN network, following Auburn (ESPN2), North Carolina (ESPN) and West Virginia (ESPN2).

Times sportswriter Greg Auman, who covers USF, will post news and thoughts on the Bulletin and we invite your participation in the comments area.

I hope that USF beats WVA so that when UCF beats them we will go from getting AP votes to getting in the top 20 or so. The time is near.

It's going to be a great game in front of a sold out 68,000+ stadium.
Go Bulls!!

I was at the Sun Dome getting tickets this morning. Great experience!
Hey Knight Guy, you really think UCF eve deserves to be on the same field as USF? Come on, we beat you down in your own house last year, now you get to come to our side of the state. Be ready for a thumping you won't soon forget.

UCF are you kidding Program has been the laughing stock for 18 years. USF has nothing to gain by playing them. It will be a blowout

Knight Guy, are you delirious? UCiF will never be on our level. Have fun in conference DOA. There will never be a "big 5"

Knight Guy - Scoreboard two years running!!!
In case you forgot the scores, here they are. Read them and weep!

9/16/05 - USF 24 UCF 17

UCF is a joke program...They hired a washed up coach who lied on his resume at Notre Dame. USF will do what they did the last two years to UCF. Beat them!!!!

Sorry all...WVU's offense is still too fast for USF's defense. There's a reason why they're ranked 5th in the nation - 2 Heisman hopefuls. It should be a close game until WVU opens it up in the 4th quarter.

WVU has a great team. We're the underdogs. We'll have to play very, very well to beat them--but, if we don't beat ourselves with stupid penalties, if the kicking goes well, and we play to our potential, I think we have a chance. Hey, just to have a shot at being in a real fight with the #5 team in the nation is really quite something.

I love the UCF people, they are so out of their minds. USF has no use for UCF, thus we no longer will play them. As for WVU people in here, I could be wrong but WVU was pretty highly ranked last year when we beat you IN YOUR OWN HOUSE!! It should be a good game, and likely a close game.

UCF is a good team. There will be a big 5. However, USF will win the game between them. There is room for both programs. Go Bulls!
