BCS standings: Where are the Bulls?
I'm putting this out as a place where you guys can discuss the official BCS standings, which will be released at 4:15 p.m. and can be found then at bcsfootball.org. My 4-year-old son Riley has his postseason soccer banquet at 4, so I've playing the "Daddy > Blogger" card and should have a post up by 5:30 or so.
BCS expert Jerry Palm's hunch last night was USF No. 3, just behind Boston College, and bcsguru.com is projecting the Bulls to be No. 2, just ahead of the Eagles. USF is taking a rare Sunday night practice tonight, trying to squeeze in as much prep work as possible during a short week leading up to Thursday's game at Rutgers.

Times sportswriter Greg Auman, who covers USF, will post news and thoughts on the Bulletin and we invite your participation in the comments area.
I say we are ranked 1 1/2.

Wow. A practice the day after a game in that sweltering heat. These guys must be motivated. I wonder if Rutgers will be practicing tonight? Let us know how many goals Riley scores and provide a complete game recap. lol.

Apparently, it has been on the TV, but not yet on the website, and I'm not at a TV. #2 is very, very good.

FWIW, I think its a travesty that Ohio state is #1. Having said that, if USF runs the table I PRAY Ohio State does too. I think they will be a MUCH easier team to beat than LSU or Oklahoma. OSU is SO overratted.
