Report: All USF players and coaches taken to hospital with what appears to be injuries to their feet! Apparently the whole team shot themselves in the foot in Connecticut!

Nick- I think this is the reason why Moises was in. It wasn't his fault the line did absolutely nothing to help him. I think that a play-action pass to one of the backs in the endzone would've been the proper call on 2nd and 3rd down.
Hope Ford and Amarri are alright...

grothe can only do so much.... jim leavitt needs to recruit bigger players how many players do we have hurt now... with this game... it seems like every game four or five go out and are out for two-four weeks.... doesn't anyone want to play football for this team....and there isn't one player that can catch the great passes grothe can throw i say take mike jenkins and or trae williams off of defense and put them as a wide receiver that would make the most sense... considering these guys have really great hands...... i hope for mike ford that his injury isn't serious

Stain..
you are an idiot.
Go back to where you came from.

matt grothe deserves to be with a better team... he is playing at a higher caliber then the whole team... you can see the desire in that guy's eyes when he practices and is on the field during the game.... he has what it takes but when u have a guy like cedric hill and a couple others dropping balls he'll never get the respect he deserves especially from the media he is getting called a poor man's joe montanna on national television that is not right.....and it's because of his teammates and his head coach making stupid decisions

And Leavitt is getting hard to defend. I still can't get over how bgi of an idiot he was on the post game interview. Just classless.
Its easy to be a good winner, but you have to have some class when you lose. Guy was as rude as I have ever seen a high profile coach. Has no manners.

ur an idiot and ur team sucks live with it dude until next year.... just think u gotta wait a whole nother year to see if they get the job done again and they won't unless they get better receivers for grothe to through to... be mad at your team.... bc they don't even have guys that can run.... not only does grothe have to be the one throwing but he has to be the one running making the plays as well.... benjamin williams is not a good running back.... i mean i know it is is senior year and they are trying to give him a little help for media attention but he isn't making any attention..... mike ford has not been used at all really this year just to come in and pound the ball one or two yards when they are third and short....the fact is grothe run and throws he is your offense play maker for the whole team

jim leavitt i think has lost his marbles.... he is one of the guys i'm talking about that are hurting the team... i think it's time for a new head coach.... and i think that grothe might want to think of transferring and advertising it on next week's national tv game when he gets interviewed.....transfer to a better school..... usf who that's where they are headed back to the whole team

How reassuring to have yet another reliable raincloud. I didn't see the game on TV, and I assume it is that interview rather than the one on the radio, but he was extremely short with our radio guys.

Matt Grothe is not as good as everyone thinks. He makes great plays as a runner and can throw very well outside the pocket, but if a team makes him throw from the pocket, he is a very below average QB with a suspect arm.

you play head on against him your self man and i bet u would change ur mind with the right receievers and running backs.... he would be a great match against your matt ryan of bc or tim tebow..... again i say take mike jenkins off or trae williams off of defense and put on offense

from contender to pretender in two games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
not ready for primetime players!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by: alan | October 27, 2007 at 09:09 PM
your right man they are pretenders..... they just got lucky with everyone losing this year and got some good rankings by the computer no one believes they are really a top 25 team

Wow, 2 losses and Leavitt goes from being the best coach ever to the reason this team is losing. It is not all his fault. Leavitt has improved this team from the ground up and even though the Big East isn't going to be ours this year, we went all the way to number 2 in the nation! We are still doing better every year, so don't ask for Leavitt's resignation because of two losses.

sorry he really has taken this team as far as they he can take them... it's the truth they had the big east championship in their grasp but lost to a weak uconn in my opinion they were very sloppy in the game and we were just sloppier so that shows what the core of our football team is made of...... when the going gets rough they just take a knee and go sit on the bench and let someone else do the work

im not saying its the coach. I just think the whole program really looked stupid today. We were a better team, but we just looked like a bunch of clowns at times.
I still can't get over our kicker. Do realize that before he made those last two kicks in today's game.. Delbert Alverado was 4-12 on FG's on the road.
4-12 on the road kicking
That is disgraceful.

Maybe they should have left Houston Hess as a receiver! I think maybe he could have caught the ball!
Posted by: Steve | October 27, 2007 at 10:46 PM
mike jenkins as the new receiver please
