Ford, Taylor updates

In the postgame interviews, coach Jim Leavitt announced that Mike Ford missed the game because he was suspended for missing classes. It was a one-game suspension, so he should be back next week against UCF.

Leavitt also expects Jamar Taylor, who left the game with a sprained left ankle, to be back next week.

Did he mention if Ryan Schmidt was injured? His leg got rolled and his screaming could clearly be heard over the broadcasters- not a good sound, I thought it had to be some sort of broken bone or something, based on the volume of his screams. They went to a commercial as the trainers were hovering over him and never updated his status.

And do we know if that girl (Amber?) is going to work tomorrow? (also picked up by the field mics')

I'm glad we're able to win these games when we aren't playing our best, but I'd sure like to play well offensively and win too!

Hmmmmm....I wonder if Saban would sit hs leading rusher for not going to a few classes.
