USF-Syracuse game switched to Ch. 28

USF's Nov. 10 game at Syracuse, set for a noon kickoff, will be broadcast locally on WFTS Ch. 28, the ABC affiliate in Tampa.

The Big East had previously announced the game would be broadcast on Bright House Networks' Catch 47, but later sent a release saying the game would instead be on Ch. 28. The regional broadcasts include four of the nation's seven largest TV markets: New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and Boston.

Good news Greg. Any updates on injured players?

So this means that tampa brighthouse channel 11 (ABC) will show this game instead of all the other scheduled games or is there a hidden channel that uses the ABC feed? Like 17 or something?

I'm not sure what channel the local ABC affiliate (WFTS) is on Bright House, but it's Channel 28 by name. It will be what ABC shows in this market.

Glad to see it on ABC- makes life easier on campus (no Brighthouse).

Ah, cool. Hopefully the UL and Pitt games are at least on regional ABC like the UConn and Cincy games, but it's good to have Syracuse on local ABC for those that don't have Brighthouse, as Dave W stated.

Kinda disappointing that it was looking like a primetime game with college gameday potentially coming for the Cincy game just a few weeks ago. Of course, it would be hard to beat Oregon ASU this week. Who knew. This is a crazy season.
