Bucs coach Jon Gruden continues to have nothing but love for his Raymond James Stadium field-mates, again referencing USF in his weekly news conference Monday morning.
"Man ... No. 2 in the nation," Gruden said. "That is unbelievable; I say it every week, just unbelievable. Coach (Jim) Leavitt and their organization, their athletic department, their coaching staff, support staff. I had the band right in front of me playing the national anthem. The trombone players, even they’re great, so they got it going on. I’m really fired up and I can’t wait till the next game.”
Leavitt reciprocated the love for the Bucs on Monday afternoon, saying he'd watched the Bucs' win against Tennessee and appreciated the support from Gruden and his players.

Times sportswriter Greg Auman, who covers USF, will post news and thoughts on the Bulletin and we invite your participation in the comments area.
I'm a trombone player in the USF band and for Gruden to just mention specifically about my section is really awesome!

Tell Gruden to worry about his own team and once he gets to having a winning record, then his comments may mean something. Gruden is an idiot!

Gruden talking about Matt Grothe:
"I love the quarterback, I love the way he's making plays," Gruden said. "I think he's a super competitor and a real talent." Guess this means the Bucs will be drafting Matt as Garcia's replacement.

Just another reason to love Jon Gruden. Man I love that guy. He referred to USF as we on his show today too. That guy is all about Tampa. We are truly blessed to have him and Coach Leavitt here in the same town.
Go Bucs and Go Bulls!!!

John Gruden is the man, it was his team who got us to the super bowl no matter what anybody says.
Go Gruden!

Doesn't Jim have film to be watching? How did he see the game?
I guess he probably watched film and came up with a game plan on Saturday afternoon/night, so he is entitled to a break.
Not that I want to bring back any of the naysayers, but whoever was against Jim Leavitt earlier this year should be run out of town. All of Tampa will soon be Leavittown!
