Getting ready for this week's Florida A&M-Bethune-Cookman game, the Times' Izzy Gould has a front-page feature today on former USF linebacker Ronnie McCullough, now leading all of Division I football in tackles with more than 15 a game as a senior at BCU. McCullough still has close friends at USF and has been happy for the Bulls' success, though his own play this year has validated that he made the right decision to transfer to a smaller school to find more playing time. He could rejoin friends like Mike Jenkins and Trae Williams in the NFL next season.

Times sportswriter Greg Auman, who covers USF, will post news and thoughts on the Bulletin and we invite your participation in the comments area.
I think a sign that we have "arrived" is that we are able to be happy for him. If we were having struggles at LB or RB, we may be angry with him and Chad Simpson.
However, since they probably made the right decision, we can be thrilled that they are getting to shine.

Congratulations to Ronnie. He made a decision that is working out for him. He may have done that at USF this year too, but with the number of guys we have at LB who knows.
