Seriously, 13 people wearing green here
I'm realizing that saying there are only 200 people here in the Ocean Center isn't really saying enough. How many fans here are wearing green? Honestly, 13. And that includes a guy in a Cleveland State windbreaker -- they're green, too -- and a guy in a UAB shirt. I'm not saying 13 people wearing USF gear; I'm saying 13 wearing the color green. So more than half the green-wearing people here are on the USF bench.
Don't get me wrong: this is a weekday afternoon game across the state from Tampa, but Rhode Island has more people here. The last time the Bulls played to less than 1,000 people -- 434 against Oregon State in 2005-06 they could at least say they were in Hawaii.
USF is up 44-38 -- five minutes into the second half. URI forward Will Daniels, who led the Rams with 26 points in their win against Brown, already has four fouls.

Times sportswriter Greg Auman, who covers USF, will post news and thoughts on the Bulletin and we invite your participation in the comments area.
To be honest, I had NO IDEA they were even playing today.....much less know where to go if I wanted to attend it.

I'm not even there in spirit... I forgot about it.
Why did anyone running this tournament expect USF-URI to be remotely interesting to anyone?
