Guard Howard out with cramps

If USF is going to knock off No. 18 Pittsburgh tonight, they're likely going to do it without the floor leader for the final 10 minutes. Point guard Chris Howard limped off the court holding his right knee -- that's not the one he's had two surgeries on -- and USF will shift point duties to guards Dominique Jones and Solomon Bozeman.

(Update: After the game, coach Stan Heath said Howard just had cramps, that USF had tried to give him a quick IV so he could return, but he couldn't. There's no reason to think he won't be fine for Saturday's game.
