Maybe not: W.Va. up 12 after 13-2 run
No sooner do I make the call to post an update that USF is within one point of No. 17 West Virginia, then the Mountaineers break loose for a 13-2 run that's all but put the game away. West Virginia leads 67-55 with seven minutes to play, as USF isn't hitting their shots and has stopped playing defense.
Mountaineers center Olayinka Sanni has been a force, with 20 points on near-perfect shooting. The aptly-named Sparkle Davis has gone for 18 off the bench for West Virginia, which now has hit 11 3-pointers. This is a game USF could have won with a little more bench and a little more defense. ...

Times sportswriter Greg Auman, who covers USF, will post news and thoughts on the Bulletin and we invite your participation in the comments area.
