It's almost a lock for him to win Big East Rookie of the Year

I'd think he'd have a good shot at it if he finishes well, and especially could lead us to a couple more WINS!

Congrats to Jones. He seems to play hard all the time and shows a lot of maturity, especially for a freshman. Hopefully Heath can get him some help next year. The team played well saturday and gave it everything they had. Exciting game. GO BULLS!

smooth, he's definately in contention for ROY, but I don't know about a lock. There are a lot of great freshmen in the Big East.

I think Greene of Syracuse will probably be given the Big East Rookie of the Year because his team is having a better year.
However no doubt that Jones is the best freshmen in the Big East and as the talent around him gets better he will become an even more complete player.

I'll put Jones on the first-team freshman All Big East and 3rd-team freshman All-American teams. He really has been the key to victory, especially in non-conference play.

He should be freshmen of the year, but they will give it to Green..simply because he has more star power.
Jones has been remarkable.
Guy plays 38 mins a game.

Ari, he has been remarkable, but he's averaged 34.3 minutes. And Greene's averaged 35.4. Just trying to be accurate here ...

Ari, you have just been stumped by the Schwab!
Though i do agree with you that Green gets it for his "star" power.

Greg is always there to fill in the gaps.
Nice Job Auman.

In case you stat geeks were wondering. It is not very close.
Jeremy Hazell of Seton Hall tied Jones for most points in a game this year last week, and he did it against a Big East team.
He comes in next week and the matchup of the two should be interesting. Seton Hall is now a possible win for USF, they have quit on their season.
