LB Brouce Mompremier has been cleared to return to full weight lifting and conditioning exercises.
He will practice to a limited extent this afternoon under the guidance of the athletic trainers. He has been sidelined since the FIU game when he was carted off the field by paramedics after a violent collision with teammate Carlton Williams. It's unclear when Mempremier will be able to return to game action.

Times sportswriter Greg Auman, who covers USF, will post news and thoughts on the Bulletin and we invite your participation in the comments area.
Mompremier absolutely NOT play against Syracuse. He has only been in contact drill this week and the certainly don't need him against lowly SU. If he gets hurt worse in the SU game when they didn't need him Leavitt's head should roll! He's taking liberties with a kid's future and its always better to error on the side on caution when it comes to neck and spine injuries.

I'll be very surprised if he plays against Syracuse, or the following week.

It is great to see Mompremier back on the field. He is a great player but more importantly he is a leader on our football team and we definetively need that.
GO BULLS !!!
