Live blog: Busy day ends with Bulls-Cards

Quite a day for USF athletics, with news that defensive end George Selvie will be back for his senior year, then news that the Bulls will open a home-and-home series with Florida State this fall, bringing the Seminoles to Tampa in 2012.

We're blogging live from the Sun Dome, where USF's men's basketball team is hoping to pull off the upset against No. 24 Louisville. Decent crowd here, nothing as strong as the 8,000-plus that saw Syracuse edge the Bulls here on Friday night. Joe Dumars, the Pistons great and father of USF signee Jordan Dumars, is in attendance tonight, so we'll have more from that as well. Keep checking back and don't hesitate to throw in a question if you've got one ...

I forgot to say- I like the running comment update style that you used for the Outback Bowl. It keeps good stories up longer, like the Selvie thing. Otherwise a game can make someone miss big news if they can't log in daily. Just sayin'

GA, is the guy sitting behind Stan Heath famous? He looks a little like the guy that played Avon Barksdale on "The Wire." He looks really familiar for some reason...

I'm amazed how ranked teams rarely blow us out. To me that says something about the heart that USF has (the same was true under Bob). After this many games against ranked opponents, I'm beginning to think that there is something to it that is greater than seeing so many teams play down to our level.
