Two big challenges for USF basketball tonight, as the men are on the road at No. 1 Pittsburgh while the women are here in the Sun Dome against No. 7 Louisville.
Again, a paltry crowd here to see the Bulls in what is really one of their best home games of the season. Not a single fan sitting above the bottom level, and not much in the lower levels. The St. John's win on Saturday drew an announced 1,066, but if you take away the huge crowd for Connecticut, the Sun Dome average in 11 other home games is less than 700.
Louisville is a talented team -- I saw them in the NCAA regional final in New Orleans last season, and they have a team that should make a similar postseason run.
The men's game at Pittsburgh has been delayed slightly as USF had trouble getting from the hotel to the arena because of heavy snow. The Bulls left at 5:15 and arrived around 6:40, so the game should tip off right around 7:20 ...

Times sportswriter Greg Auman, who covers USF, will post news and thoughts on the Bulletin and we invite your participation in the comments area.

Dave, why aren't you at the game? Tickets that hard to come by?

The weather is awful up here- the city was snarled. Once I got home, I figured it would be impossible to get back to Oakland without walking.
My buddies are there and texted me asking who the guys to watch are. I said "Jones, Jesus Verdejo, Gilchrist, and prayer." He texted back "I can't find Prayer on the roster."
