Lorenzo Guess, the former Michigan State two-sport star who came to USF in January as an assistant strength and conditioning coach, has left the Bulls to become tight ends coach at Cincinnati.
Guess, who had been reunited with former Spartans assistant Stan Heath in working with USF's men's basketball team, now moves to a Big East rival in joining Brian Kelly's staff. USF's first-year defensive coordinator, Joe Tresey, held the same job with the Bearcats the past two seasons, so there's an unusual amount of traffic between the two programs. Guess had worked as a program assistant with Cincinnati's football program in 2006.
USF announced Thursday that Graham Anderson, former head strength coach at Hartford, was returning to the Bulls and will work with both basketball teams.

Times sportswriter Greg Auman, who covers USF, will post news and thoughts on the Bulletin and we invite your participation in the comments area.
I guess this clears up any misconceptions about his credentials.

Mine? ALL girls.......9-13-16-21-29! Sounds like a pick for a lottery number, doesn't it. Haven't had one sleep in my lap for quite a while, but I still remember it. I sure get a lot of hugs and kisses though! Family is the most important thing! That is why I have 16 season tickets for FB. I figure 10 for my girls and their significant others, 2 for me and the wifey, 4 extra.......maybe grandchildren! GOOOOOOOO BULLS!

Congrats to Guess for moving up the coaching ranks!!! I wish him well except when USF plays Cincy.

Cincinnati can't confirm the hiring because they're in a hiring freeze, but an announcement should come July 1.
And this isn't like USF, where graduate assistant Steve Bird is handling the tight ends -- Guess will be a full-time assistant on Brian Kelly's staff.

Hilarious how a guy that was an assistant strength coach is now their TE coach, and chalko says that is smart? Wow, if USF had hired a strength coach to be our TE coach, he would be blasting us for it.
I've got a 27 month old, and my wife is in her third trimester, so I'm going to be holding napping kids for a while to come!

My BULLettes and BULLy are 6,8, and 9 and amazing the 6 year old will sometimes take a nap (in my lap) during a Bulls game while I am screaming my head off...It is pretty amazing!

Does it get better than having a sleeping baby in your arms? My little ones are 3 and 6, so getting harder and harder for them to fall asleep like that ...
