Yoooooooooo! What it do? Anyway I was gona join da Bulls b4 I went to UCLA, but yall ain't guarantee me playin time, but what I wana say is give dat kid Shaun some playin time.

That was a tremendous Q Chris Steuber does some of the best interviews around. Selvie is going to be a monster this year and he should be a first round pick.

Unlike Selvie, who didn't get much attention out of HS, Giddins got a ton of offers. Like Selvie, he seems to be a kid of good character and values his family. That is one of the reasons he chose USF, to be near family. I would be surprised if any problems pop up concerning Giddins. I think he will work just as hard in the classroom as he will on the field.

Tim, Ryne Giddins is listed among the players who have joined the program and started summer classes. I don't know that it's an absolute green light -- you'll remember that basketball signee Teeng Akol started summer classes last year, but ended up not being admitted.

I've heard nothing to suggest Giddins hasn't been cleared and approved by all the necessary steps.

IS Giddens all set?

I lold. There is some funny stuff. I love how "attempting to learn how to swim" isn't just something Selvie is working on, it's his hobby.

And you could do alot worse than Stedman. He won't be retiring from his career with bad knees and dementia (at least that I know of) like most former NFLers will. Good goal, Selvie.

Steve O'Neal

Great article, Greg. Thanks for the link. George has always seemed to be a good character person. He is the perfect example of what a student/athlete should be. Glad he represents USF and hope he has a monster year! GO BULLS!

So... Selvie can't swim yet...

She does have more cracks in her facade than the old Marshall Center!

Greg Auman

Don't mean this in a disrespectful way to either side, but she's two years older than USF.

Oprah's been around longer than the NFL and she may generate more revenue as well. Why not go out with her to Hawaii. If George really likes the island, Oprah can buy it for him. I don't see nuttin' wrong with havin' a sugar momma that likes good Soul Food.
