Tampa Super Bowl blogging with Jenn Sterger!
Tampa Super Bowl fans, get ready for a treat. Our hometown hottie-made-good and original Florida State "cowgirl," Jenn Sterger is coming to town for the Super Bowl. Discovered by hormone-fueled guys like us when she appeared on national TV during an FSU football game, Jenn has turned her celebrity into writing gigs for SI On Campus and other sports Web sites. Now Jenn wants to blog about the experience for TBT* and Tampabay.com. That means Wingman gets his grubby little hands on her prose too. Here's her first column:
It is pretty rare that an area receives the opportunity to host not only the World Series but also the Super Bowl in the very same year. Yet Tampa Bay has managed to do just that.
Having spent the past 6 months in New York City, I was really disappointed I wasn't there to see the Tampa Bay Rays win the ALCS. Instead, I watched the locker room celebrations ensue from the confines of my Hoboken apartment, overlooking a city whose baseball had ended well over a month before that. Sigh. I couldn't believe I was missing history in the making ... and in my own hometown nonetheless.
Determined not to let another opportunity like that pass me by, I did the next best thing … I booked my plane ticket to Tampa!
The past few months I have spent the better majority of my Sundays along the sidelines of Giants Stadium in the Meadowlands, having a blast and hosting Game Day for New York's very own Gang Green, the New York Jets. And while our season may have ended a little prematurely, it hasn't stopped me from following those who survived the cut to the culmination of a season's worth of great football and athleticism, Super Bowl XLIII.
So I guess you can imagine how stoked I was when TBT* and Tampabay.com asked me if I would be interested in collaborating with them on covering some of the Super Bowl events and of course the big game. Hmmm … a week in the sun and fun in my hometown with some of the biggest names in the NFL and hottest celebrities in Hollywood today? What's a Southern girl with a love of the game supposed to do? Blog about it, of course!
Make sure to come back to TBT and Tampabay.com for the latest gossip, stories, and, of course, pictures of this week's festivities. After all, this is the week the city of Tampa has been waiting for. And believe me when I say, it's going to be legendary.
See you soon!!!

Yawn. It would have been better to use that silicone for computer parts or window sealant that what you used it for.

Do you know her? No, you don't. She has more intelligence in her pinky finger than you have in your entire family. Also, before you start criticizing her, why don't you actually learn some proper grammar.

Jenny, Why don't you reply to my texts anymore. I think that's the reason why I choked at the end of the season, I had your booty on my mind..
Love always,
Brett

Being attractive and having photos taken of you in tight low-cut shirts at Seminoles games qualifies you to blog for a fairly reputable newspaper? Wow. I like the St. Pete Times, but I have to say that's quite a stretch.
